To say we are excited would be an understatement!! Following on from an on-site meeting with Dundas this evening, hot off the presses, please see below the new draft proposal from Dundas. We are in the early stages, but due to the overwhelming response, and the unity of our responses, Dundas have put forward the following:

•18 high end detached villas instead of 65 flats.
•Retaining the tree lined avenue, and extending tree planting towards the nursery to complement the entrance avenue.
•Removing affordable housing and contributing a levy to ERC instead.
•Development will take approximately a year as opposed to three years development time for the flats.

I hope you are all as delighted as we are with this quite unprecedented and unexpected turnaround! Please accept our heartfelt thanks for all your amazing support and effort in fighting for the development that Mearnskirk deserved.
